Add preset folders and plugin folders
Point Presetti at preset banks it didn't find on its own, or at plugin folders outside the usual places.
Analyse looks in the places synths normally keep their presets and plugins. If you keep packs somewhere else, add the folder yourself.
Add a preset folder to one synth
- On the Library tab, select the synth.
- Click Add presets and choose the folder that holds that synth's presets.
- Presetti lists that synth's presets again, including the new folder. You don't need to run Analyse again for the whole computer.
- Tick the synth and build to make the new presets searchable.
Added folders belong to that synth only. Pick the folder of one bank, not a huge top-level folder with everything in it.
To detach a folder, pick it in the Added preset folders menu and click Remove selected. This only removes it from Presetti. Nothing is deleted from your disk.
Add a plugin folder
If Analyse doesn't find a synth because its plugin is installed somewhere unusual:
- Click the gear icon to open Settings and pick Plugins.
- Click Add folder and choose the folder that contains the plugin.
- Go back to the Library tab and run Analyse this PC again.
