A synth isn't listed
Why a synth you own might be missing after Analyse, and how to add its plugin folder or preset bank so Presetti can use it.
Is it a supported synth?
Presetti works with the synths on the supported synths list, and the list grows with each release. It doesn't work with every plugin. Synths it found but can't use yet appear at the bottom of the Library list with the reason, so they aren't mistaken for missing ones.
Sample-based instruments such as Kontakt libraries aren't supported yet.
The synth is supported but not listed
Presetti looks for plugins in the usual plugin folders. If yours is installed somewhere else:
- Open Settings (the gear icon) and pick Plugins.
- Click Add folder and choose the folder that contains the plugin.
- Run Analyse this PC again on the Library tab.
The synth is listed but presets are missing
If the synth shows fewer presets than you expect, Presetti probably didn't find a bank you keep in another folder. Select the synth, click Add presets and choose that folder. See Add preset folders.
Still missing?
Send a debug log with a note saying which synth you expected. It lists the folders Presetti searched and the plugins it found.
